   The first thing you need to do, BEFORE you even start to think about EARNING is to get your visitor numbers up. Once you ar getting reasonable numbers of visitors the money will come in on it’s own. Not a lot but maybe enough to cover your costs. Have a look at http://www.ds32.com for tips and help.

   now you need to either set up a website but you need hosting for that or do affiliate marketing then find a product and forward the domain name to your affiliate link but you should always have your website planned out before you buy the domain name

   Sell it.
   Park it.
   Develop it.

   Sell it through sedo, afternic, greatdomains, etc or through a domain name forum like NamePros, DNForum or even on EBay. If it’s a good name that others would want then you could make a significant profit.

   Park it with sedo, revenuedirect, goldkey, etc. and earn some chump change. Not the best strategy but maybe worth considering while you attempt to find a buyer for the name or work on the development of a site.

   Develop it into a site that draws visitors and sell something. That something could be advertising on the site itself or products/services either through an affiliate or directly. This would be the best strategy to earn if done correctly.

   Find a partner that isn’t a beginner to help in development of a site that will generate a decent income. For a beginner this is probably the best strategy.
